Overview of series - Food and Health as Evolution intended
We are what we eat and we are what our food eats!
The kind of food that we buy and eat creates a future for ourselves, our children and the earth
In each of the 3 locations our objective is to present a day that combines cutting edge nutrition information with food farming and health. Nora’s work has changed many lives including many here in Australia. The local support speakers will vary at each venue but the overall message is the same. ie: You are what you eat and you are what your food eats! It’s important for you to eat as evolution intended but it is also important that your food is also grown/produced as their evolution intended. It should be good for us and good for the planet - nourishing and sustainable.
Nora will speak for the greater part of each day and include topics such as “Taming the Carb-craving Monster”, etc She will emphasise that eating animal foods and lots of vegetables is important – but they must be free-range/grass-fed or in the case of seafood, ocean-fed not farmed! She will also explain how saturated fats and cholesterol are not your enemies.
Nora Gedgaudas is a nutritionist and neurofeedback specialist.with a busy practice in Portland Oregan as well as finding time to research and share her knowledge via her book, website, podcasts and presentations at seminars and conferences. such as the Weston A Price Conference in the US. The feedback from those who have adopted her advice is that their lives have been changed dramatically.
Dr Ron Ehrlich is a Holistic Dentist and qualified in nutritional medicine. He will be MC at all 3 events and will talk about the amazing research of Dr Weston a Price and weave in information about how oral and full body health are so dependent on this way of life. Ron is a well known speaker on Holistic Health and eats and exercises as Nora advocates.
Nourishing and delicious primal food is included in the price
We will not be filling you up with sugar and flour-based low-cost foods. We have asked all our caterers to provide lunch and refreshments which will be satisfying and healthy and keep you focussed and energetic all day! They have all really got into the sprit of the day and done their own research into "paleo" food and come up with some great menus. We have chosen to do this as to do anything else would be unthinkable in view of our subject matter! So your ticket price is really a great bargain!
In Sydney we even have a completley certified organic menu provided by the first certified organic resturant in Sydney - Agape in Botany. They are doing this almost for cost as they believe in what we at Nourishing Australia are doing so please try the restaurant. The Organic Federation of Australia has held their last 2 Annual Awards Dinners there and the food was sensational.
